Vocational Training Scholarships Offered

The Vollbrecht Murrieta Rotary Career Tech Scholarships for 2024 are open to those pursuing vocational training in various forms.  Offered through the Rotary Club of Murrieta Foundation, the scholarships are open to graduates of Murrieta schools, public or private, including home schooled and Murrieta residents who have attended schools outside the community.

Consideration for the scholarships is being given to applications now.  Applications received after April 1 date will be considered if funds are available.

The review of applications will place emphasis on clear career paths and service to others during high school years.  Leadership and academic achievement will also be considered.

The Career Tech scholarship program is named in memory of the late Al Vollbrecht, Rotarian and founder of the career tech program at Murrieta Rotary.  Funding for the program comes from sponsorships and flag sales at the annual Murrieta Rotary Field of Honor, held during Veterans Day week at Town Square Park in Murrieta.
