Jann Gentry took office Monday, July 1, to serve as President of the Rotary Club of Murrieta for the 2018/19 Rotary year, succeeding Vickie Ashmore.

A native of Arizona, she has spent most of her life in California with a few years spent in the South. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations, a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising Design, and studied her master’s degree in business at the University of Tennessee. She is a board member for the Economic Development Coalition, the editor of the Murrieta Field of Honor Magazine and a photo contributor for the Murrieta Rotary Field of Honor Commemorative Book. She has worked for many years in marketing, non-profit fund raising, and re-habilitating neighborhood housing.

Jann and her husband, Bernie Dally, have four grown children. They own acreage with fruit trees and a very large garden that demands much of her time either with planting, harvesting or preserving. When not overseeing the affairs of the Murrieta Rotary Club, Jann writes, photographs, paints with oils, and walks in their orchard.
